How to add Plant Status on RCM Base files

Plant Status

This Base File is used to register standardized codes for the status of the plant required during a maintenance activity. This is also used during the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.

Add a new Plant Status

  1. Select the "Plant Status" tab and click the "Add" button.


  1. Capture the Plant Status "Code".
  2. Capture the "Plant Status Description".
  3. Click "Save" to exit the pop-up window and the "Plant Status" will be added to the grid.




Editing and Deleting existing Plant Statuses

  1. Click the Plant Status you wish to update. The row will be highlighted grey to indicate its selection.
  2. Click the "Edit" or "Delete" button.

  1. If "Delete" is selected, a pop-up window will appear requesting the user to confirm the deletion. Click delete to continue and the record will be removed from the grid. If this action was a mistake, then click cancel.
  2. If the "Edit" button is selected, update the Plant Status details.
  3. Click "Save".
