How to add RCM One Time Change Base file
One Time Change-(OTC)
A One-Time Change also referred to as OTC is considered to reduce the risk in the event that no proactive task can be found that would do so on its own or when a combination of tasks will also not accomplish this. The OTC is always the last consideration. For failures that impact safety and the environment, the OTC will be compulsory, and for the rest it may be desirable. This Base File is used to register standardized codes for One Time Changes where this has been identified though the RCM3™ analysis.
Adding new One-Time Changes
- Navigate to the One-Time Change tab.
- Select the "Add" button.
- Capture the "Code".
- Capture the "Description".
- Click "Save".
Editing and Deleting existing One-Time Changes
- Select the OTC you wish to update from the grid. The selected row will be highlighted in grey to indicate its selection.
- Click the "Edit" or "Delete" button.
- If "Delete" is selected, a pop-up window will appear requesting the user to confirm the deletion. Click delete to continue and the record will be removed from the grid. If this action was a mistake, then click cancel.
- If the "Edit" button is selected, update the OTC details.
- Click "Save".
