How to add Technologies Base file

Technologies

This Base File is used to register standardized codes for different technologies that will be used in the performance of mainly On-Condition Maintenance tasks. This also helps in the determination of resources required for acquisition, planning and scheduling in the user’s Work Management System.

Adding new Technologies

  1. Select the Technologies tab.
  2. Click the "Add" button.


  1. Capture the "Type".
  2. Capture the "Description".
  3. Click "Save".



Editing and Deleting existing Technologies

  1. Select a technology record that you wish to update from the grid. The selected row will be highlighted in grey to indicate its selection.
  1. Click the "Edit" or "Delete" button.


  1. If "Delete" is selected, a pop-up window will appear requesting the user to confirm the deletion. Click delete to continue and the record will be removed from the grid. If this action was a mistake, then click cancel.
  2. If the "Edit" button is selected, update the Technology details.
  3. Click "Save".
