How to add a Manufacturer Base file in AMD

Manufacturer

This base file is used to register standardized manufacturers.

Adding new manufacturers

  1. Select base files from the AMD index page.


  1. Select the Manufacturer tab.
  2. Select the Add button.

  1. Capture the Manufacturer Name.
  2. Capture the Contact Person.
  3. Capture the Telephone Number.
  4. Capture the Email Address.
  5. Capture a Description.
  6. Click Save.



Editing and Deleting existing manufacturers

  1. Select the Manufacturer record that you wish to update from the grid. The selected record will be highlighted to indicate its selection.
  2. Click the Edit or Delete button.


  1. If Delete is selected, the system will request the user to confirm the delete action. Click delete to continue and the record will be removed from the grid. If this action was a mistake then click cancel.




  1. If Edit is is selected, the same screen that appeared when a new manufacturer was added will reappear for the user to edit the manufacturer details.
  2. Once complete click Save.
