How to Add a Unit of Measure Basefile in AMD

Unit of Measure

This Basefile is used to register standardized Units of Measure (UOM) for maintenance task scheduling.

Adding new Unit of Measure

  1. Select Basefiles from the AMD Index page.
  1. Select the Unit of Measure tab.
  2. Select the Add button.

  1. Capture the sequence-The sequence is the order of the data as it appears in the list so the order display can be setup in a logic sequence.
  2. Capture the Description.
  3. Capture the Conversion Units. The conversion units are used based on the native unit of years so time information can be converted for some calculations.
  4. Indicate if the unit of measure is a default by checking the box.
  5. Click Save.

 

 

Editing and Deleting existing Units of Measure

  1. Select the Unit of Measure that you wish to update. The selected row will be highlighted to indicate its selection.


  1. Select the Edit or Delete button.
  2. If delete is selected, the user will be requested to confirm the delete action. Click delete and the record will be removed from the grid. If the action was a mistake, click cancel.
  1. If Edit is selected, the same screen that appeared when capturing a new unit of measure will reappear for the user to update the unit of measure information.
  2. Click Save.
