Capture the Analysis Details

- Expand the RCM menu to display the sub-categories on the left navigation window.
- Select “New Analysis”. The system will direct the user to the beginning of the RCM3™ analysis workflow.
- In the RCM "Analysis Detail" tab- Select a “Location ID” from the tree. The "Analysis Summary" section will automatically be updated with the details of the selected Location ID.
- Enter the “Analysis Name”.
- Enter the “Analysis Description”.
- Use the check boxes to Lock the analysis or to Allow Reviewer Access.
- Locking The Analysis: The Facilitator can lock the analysis by checking the "Lock Analysis" button as highlighted below. This action prevents anyone else except the facilitator from making changes to the analysis.
- Allowing Reviewer Access: This functionality allows the facilitator to give the Group Members access to view and comment on the analysis whilst it is still in-progress. If this box is not checked, the reviewers will only be allowed to add their comments once the status of the analysis is set to "In-Review". Please remember to add and save reviewers first on the Review Group before this feature can be enabled.

- Enter the estimated "Start" and "Completion" dates for your analysis.
- Enter the stakeholders that will participate in the analysis. Users are allowed to add more than 1 stakeholder.
- Capture the project sponsor.
- Capture the number of failure modes.
- Set the estimated minutes per Failure Mode as per the organizational requirements by clicking the "Edit" button as indicated below. Depending on the number of Failure modes entered ACTOR will calculate the estimated hours required per failure mode.
NB*This can be configured according to the user’s organizational requirements upon request.
- Enter “Notes”
- You can “Save” using the top menu action bar or right click and "Save".
