How to Clone a RCM3 Analysis

Cloning Analysis

What is Cloning an Analysis?

Cloning an analysis allows you to create an exact copy of an existing RCM3 analysis, including all of its associated details, worksheets, and reports. This is useful when you want to use a completed analysis as a starting point for a similar piece of equipment or system, saving you the time and effort of setting up a new analysis from scratch.

1. Navigate to the Analysis History screen to view all RCM3 analyses.

2. The screen displays a list of all analyses. You can narrow this list by using the tree structure or the search field at the top of the screen to locate a specific analysis.
3. Right-click on the desired analysis and select Clone Analysis from the menu.

4. You will be prompted to select a location and provide a new name for the cloned analysis.

5. Once you confirm these details, a cloned copy of the analysis will be created. This copy will include all information from the original, including the Analysis Details, Review Groups, Operating Context, Information Worksheet, Decision Worksheet, Policy Worksheet, Worth Doing, Deliverables, and Reports.
